Maybe, just maybe, Osama Bin Laden won! His intent was to cripple America’s financial stability. Well, did he accomplish what he set out to do? How is our brittle system holding up? Maybe his plan goes further. Look at our banking institutions, as of today Bank of America is looking at laying off 4000 people. Politicians as well as the populace continue touting jobs and technology as the future. Online banking is a newer system that a lot of people take advantage of myself included. But are we saying technology is taking the place of real people, so much so that tellers and such become obsolete? This country will continue to go through growing pains until we come to grips with what’s going on. We are spreading ourselves too thin, involved in too many conflicts. 9-11 will forever live, but we have to take a look at ourselves as well as our foreign policy.
