I purposely tried to stay away from the news pertaining to the unfortunate incident that took place at the 40th anniversary of the Boston Marathon. Usually, some network wants first dibs on the story, so much so that they give misleading information. Along with misinformation flies conspiracies and plenty of tale spinning. What we can say is, this was an act of terrorism, it was meant to spread fear; and it did. We can with some certainty say, 3 died, 7 in critical condition and 170 injured.

The question still remains, who and why? Was this a “false flag”, an inside job? We can at least agree that to many coincidences have reared its ugly head on tax day, reenactments,  independence day, RedSox baseball and a host of other events.

Now for the non conspiracy! It will come down to freedoms, as if we really have them. I’m simply looking at what is in place. Think about the news of drones and how beneficial and useful they would have been, also think about the gun control legislation that’s being argued. To pile on one more. Look at prison overcrowding and the wanting to privatize prisons. This is what is called a “false flag.” Hell look at when the explosions took place, noticed all the runners who were there to compete/win the race were at least two hours removed. Sorry, but I have to mention the TSA and the necessity of what they do to keep us safe. These my friends are not conspiracies. I can’t say with no certainty if the bomber was middle Eastern or homegrown. What I can say is that we are getting ready to lose even more freedoms in the very near future.

Continue to pray for the victims and families. This incident will only bring us closer, but why should this act of terror have to happen to bring us closer. I leave you with a qoute from James Baldwin “I love America more than any other country in this world, and, exactly for this reason, I insist on the right to criticize her perpetually”.
