With China’s economy still growing at a relatively strong clip, some of its citizens have been investing their money abroad, and Detroit residential real estate has been one destination.
According to CNN Money, Detroit ranked fourth among U.S. cities where Chinese homebuyers are the most interested in purchasing a home. It came to that conclusion based on the number of searches done for Detroit on Juwai.com, a Chinese website for global real estate. Detroit followed New York, Los Angeles and Philadelphia, respectively.
