The other half of the The Confirmationfiles (Libergirl) recently said, ” The President is going to have to start carrying a Bible and find a church.” You know I think she’s correct! As simplistic as it may seem, it’s emphatically true. According to Newsweek the latest Pew poll says 31 percent believe it’s definitely or probably true that Obama “sympathizes with the goals of Islamic fundamentalists who want to impose Islamic law around the world.” The public relations folk in charge at the White House are doing the “stay away approach” and it isn’t working. The President and his people must realize the nuances are well calculated. It is time for damage control and now! Tabloid magazines have the President in Muslim garb plastered on the front cover. This is an amazing tool for the electorate who are already confused. Image is everything, but I must say this ridiculous. It hearkens back to JFK when the populous thought the Pope would run the country. The “Right” now has him as a Muslim sympathizer. The more people, especially Glenn Beck,  go unchecked, the more the rumors will continue.

I believe in the 300 technique, a system that sales people use. For every 300 people you’re able to influence, they’re able to influence 300 people. It’s time for damage control!  The Pew poll results that I mentioned earlier is just another way to besmirch the President’s persona and character. This type negative politics is frowned upon but it’s result driven.

In the end, it’s about winning. It’s up to the Obama’s camp to sway opinion.  Him ending  Operation Iraqi Freedom was a good start.
