Halloween was Monday and what do you know Herman Cain got thrown into a trick bag. And it is a real doozie of a bag that he may not get out of anytime soon. Monday found the “Godfather” stumbling all over himself after allegations surfaced that he sexually harassed two employees of the National Restaurant Association while he was the head honcho. Something funky is going on because both women received cash settlements though Cain initially said he had no idea for how much. What was he doing while checks were being written for his inappropriate behavior; singing? The doo-doo has hit the fan for he must explain how he has no recollection of something so serious. If had sexually harassed someone or been sexually harassed I would NEVER forget it. EVER!
Politico broke the story late Sunday night but only after waiting about ten days for the Cain Campaign to tell its side of the story. They couldn’t get a cohesive response together and the results have been disastrous. Early Monday Cain refused to answer any of the allegations and when confronted by a Politico reporter asked him had he ever sexually harassed anyone instead. WTF! What is up with some black Republicans? I bet you’ll never hear about charges of inappropriate behavior from say a Colin Powell or a J. C. Watts.
Later in the day he took to Fox News to address the allegations and he made absolutely no sense. You know you need damage control when you say “Yes, I have never sexually harassed anyone” and “Yes, I was falsely accused.” Yes should not be a word you use to deny allegations, it should be NO, period. You look like you are lying when you go from saying you have no recollection of the allegations and money doled to… hmm maybe you do recollect and, hell, now you remember some dumb gesture that might have gotten you sued. For the record, a man telling me that I’m about the height of his wife is not sue worthy. It maybe a little odd but does not rise to the level of offensive so there is obviously more to the story. Also for the record I’m not saying that I think he’s guilty but the response from him and his staff have been a train wreck.
I’d like to move that bullseye from his back to a lower spot and kick it for just how badly he’s handled this. He’s hedging his bets in interviews now, he sounds like he’s worried more women will come out of the woodwork. He’s now gone from it was a couple month’s pay to it might have been six months. It’s so obvious that Cain is NOT ready for primetime and is not a politician. If he were he would have learned from the Bill Clinton and Anthony Weiner sagas? Tell the truth and tell it fast no matter how embarrassing.

And so, now you know the folk in his camp are beating up the reporters and photographers when getting asked about the alleged incidents. Cain is an angry man and comes off on the defense. He’s also playing the race card. I didn’t know black republicans did that.
Excuse me… Excuse me. I am not here to talk about my scandal. He really thought the press would obey. He’s not that bright.
He’s joined that elite Republican group known as playing the victim card.
Now there is a third woman, who wants to come forward tell what went on.
