Rush “Pig Man” Limbaugh is in a lot of trouble and, you know, it couldn’t happen to a nicer guy. In between calling one woman, in particular, a slut and a prostitute and droning on and on with assumptions about women’s sex lives including them having sex in cars but not being able to afford cars. Add to that his idiotic notion that women need to take birth control pills every time they have sex and I’ve come to the conclusion that Rush isn’t getting any from wife number four. Yes, you read that right, wife numero cuatro. Interestingly enough Rush has zero kids after four marriages which begs the question, were his wives on the birth control that he so railed against? Are they sluts too?

It’s a ridiculous notion and one that I have about as much right to make as Rush did to make about Sandra Fluke who testified last week about a fellow law student who needed birth control pills in order to deal with a medical condition but ended up losing an ovary because she couldn’t afford contraception without insurance. Now that is a slut for you. She’s a snobby slut on top of that because OMG she’s in law school. I feel for the young woman who Fluke revealed is in the early stages of menopause without bearing the children she so desires.

As Al Franken so eloquently entitled one of his books…Rush Limbaugh is a big, fat idiot. Remember when Rush said Chelsea Clinton looked like the White House dog. She was only 13-years-old.

Truly anyone that talks in the manner he did on his radio show has no respect for women. Duh…dummy you have a wife so how could you sit there and say some of the things you said about women.

But back to the trouble that he’s in, I LOVE a good come down story, you know the ones where you go too far and you double-down and double-down some more that is until ad sponsors start pulling out of your show, until eventually the only advertiser you can get is the one that sells Shirley Temple DVDs. Ask Glen Beck about this. As of this writing pig-man has apologized, albeit half-heartedly, and it’s no coincidence he’s doing so after losing several advertisers and being dropped from a couple of stations. You know it’s bad when Don Imus calls you a “fat, gutless, pill-popping loser,” as he did on yesterday.

Why this guy is the “so-called” voice of the Republican party is beyond me. Repugs are their own worst enemy when they let surrogates like Rush run wild. Why aren’t any of the presidential candidates(some of whom have daughters) short of Ron Paul calling this guy out for making such statements. But even in all of this there is good news, Rush is dragging down the party down with him and it couldn’t happen to a nicer group of people.
