Sixteen states have set a limit on the number of prescription drugs they will cover for Medicaid patients, according to Kaiser Health News.
Seven of those states, according to Kaiser Health News, have enacted or tightened those limits in just the last two years.
Medicaid is a federal program that is carried out in partnership with state governments. It forms an important element of President Barack Obama’s health-care plan because under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act–AKA Obamcare–a larger number of people will be covered by Medicaid, as the income cap is raised for the program.
With both the expanded Medicaid program and the federal subsidy for health-care premiums that will be available to people earning up to 400 percent of the poverty level, a larger percentage of the population will be wholly or partially dependent on the government for their health care under Obamacare than are now.

Many will benefit from the cutting of drug intake.
The yearly turnover for drug companies $billions
an good percent of the people in taking drugs are
the victims of their own stupidity in that they are
taking drugs not needed / they are such vitims of
corrupt doctors /whom be working hand in hand
with drug companies / towards only more profits.
Of course there being good doctors whom advise
patients they don’t need drugs but need in letting
the body heal itself // many patients can’t accept
this they feel being refused a drug means doctor’s
but rejecting their needs ( thus their complaint in
resulting in a common situation where the doctor
gives a drug / just as a means to be rid of patient.
The worst victims of drugs being the mentally ill
whom many not only on drugs which do not help
but the drugs they on for mental health in having
serious side effects on their physical health /side
effects of such serious nature / the drugs causing
long lasting serious physical problems ( from the
taking of drugs which /they never having needed.
Thus for many the cutting of drugs being but an
blessing / drugs which they never having needed.
Of course needed drugs are needed drugs / if one
is totally dependent on needed drugs / then it be
such should be a priority / doctors should take a
balanced approach / to the giving of drugs / if it
be drugs not needed // then they should explain
such clearly to the patient / as explain those that
in true need of drugs in being their first priority.
