I’ve been seeing a lot of the Romneys lately and I’ve come to the conclusion that they just aren’t nice people. Oh sure they’ve given to charity and Mitt was once a minister to some in the Mormon Church offering advice on life’s many problems. Even Ann Romney comes over as warm from time to time and no one can deny that she went through a tough time when she was first diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

But they aren’t nice starting with Mitt “Bully” Romney. He’s used to getting his way and controlling the conversation but after watching him in three debates he comes off as a jerk. There are times when you just have to let a point go but Mitt will not do that. No one cares if you follow-up on the point you didn’t make THREE questions later. The Libya exchange in last week’s town-hall was Mitt Romney full on jerk, staring at the President asking him questions like he was his daddy or something. At the super-snooty Al Smith Dinner which is supposed to be where you poke fun at mostly at yourself with a sprinkling of jabs at your opponent, Romney took it mostly to jab the President. I kept waiting on him to ask for the man’s birth certificate. He was a bit more cordial in Monday’s debate but I still don’t know what he stands for. Is he really a conservative, many of his statements are to the contrary? It’s for sure though that HE IS a flip-flopper.

Ann Romney hit The View last week  in lieu of Mitt(why?) because he’s too stiff and uptight to engage with the women of the show and soooo afraid he’ll get asked a question out of his comfort zone. Ann was asked by Whoopi Goldberg about Mormons serving in the military and more specifically about Mitt and her sons NOT serving and her face all but cracked on this question. She was right to correct Whoopi on the fact that Mormons can serve but she had no answer for why her family hadn’t given back in wars for which they advocate. Sorry Ann missions don’t count as military service. But my larger point is the vibe she gives off behind that smile is a sneer…”Don’t you dare question me.”

And finally to Tagg Romney, dude aren’t you too old to be talking about taking a swing at anyone and especially the leader of the free world? Tagg was mad at Obama for calling his dad a liar in the second debate which the President has too much class to do but he did call Romney out on his flip-flopping. It’s understandable and admirable that you want to defend your father but if you go on a radio show and say it then you meant it and you’re being disrespectful. The NON-Conformist and I often talk about the amount and kind of disrespect that the President has had to endure. Like he says we should respect any sitting president, even the ones we don’t care for. News reports say that Tagg apologized to the President for his statement but it was just so silly in the first place.

Voters will determine how November 6th will go as far as the next president but I’m already tired of Mitt Romney and he hasn’t even won yet. Just go away dude, it’s okay for you not to run for anymore offices.
