Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), who advocates blocking the Affordable Care Act at every level, fanned the flames on the law’s disastrous rollout Monday night, telling supporters in Texas that “Nigerian email scammers” seem to have overtaken the job of running its plagued online web portal.
“You may have noticed that all the Nigerian email scammers have become a lot less active lately,” he joked, as quoted by the Houston Chronicle. “They all have been hired to run the Obamacare website.”
