When it comes to the NAACP I’m wondering their importance. People cry about the relevance of this historic organization, yet when a person of color gets in trouble, who do they call? Every since the announcement the President made about same-sex marriage, this group has been split and why the split, I’m lost, because both Ben Jealous and Julian Bond want to support the President. You don’t have to agree with his position of marriage equality. This sorta reminds me of the keeping Social Security in a lock box issue made famous between Gore and Bush. The President simply made an observation, a personal thought, he didn’t mention changing any laws as of yet. The new argument is if laws change about marriage, then gays could sue the church for not complying with the law. Wait, the church is protected by the law; they don’t have to acknowledge same-sex marriages. If this is a real concern then why aren’t churches being sued now. I felt this way when it came to Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell (DADT) too but after rethinking the issue, chaplains are protected to preach what the book says about sin and about certain sins. This issue should not even be an issue. It has no bearing on the reason why you support a person. You don’t have to agree with every single issue, like I’m sure they overwhelmingly supported the National Defense Authorization Act.

Birthers, Birtherism, has got to be the dumbest made-up group I’ve heard about in some time. I try to be fair and give people the benefit of the doubt but in good conscience I can’t do it anymore. People hate this guy so much so they illegitimately claim he’s not American. This is the biggest disrespect to a person I’ve ever seen; to claim him to not be what he is. A lot of this is simply jealousy, he’s been able to do what they couldn’t do: win and have people genuinely like you. I’ve been screaming this and I want to see it. Show me Romney’s credentials, show me his birth certificate and his college transcripts. Also show where he is a job creator as a private equity guy.What’s good for the goose is good for the miander-to roam without direction.

Since pastors are coming out against everyone that differs from them. Why were the twin cities destroyed? Before you answer, it wasn’t homosexuality.

I know I’ve been hard on the church and I should be. They are supposed to be the light and the salt of the earth. What bothers me is how they wilt at pressure. I was listening to a liberal talk show and a caller asked the host would they vote for a Mormon. Her reply was sure, she doesn’t care about his religion. I understand, yet as a Christian as she claimed she was, she is supposed to represent the gospel, she’s supposed to speak out against aberrant doctrines. If it doesn’t matter then why aren’t people knocking on doors everyday to spread their truth. I can’t remember the last time a Christian knocked on my door. Who are Christians wrestling against, they have become complacent in thought and deed. They come out against Muslims who openly calls the U.S. the Great Satan, so much so that Muslims claim to have found a new text that will cripple and cause Christianity to collapse .
