Sean Hannity is nothing but a shill for Fox and his frequent guest Michelle Malkin is only there because of her ethnic legitimacy. Juan Williams must have really hurt her feelings because she’s angrier than before. The Dems have thrown the Repubs a true bone. They(Dems) lose their collective minds when something happens that involves weapons. Gun control laws are fine, gun sellers are running a business, if you qualify; what can you really say. I’m sure if you display weird aberrant behavior they probably won’t sell a gun to you, even if you qualify. This whole fight makes me nauseous, the two pieces of legislation signed by the Prez increased gun rights. Gun laws have to be bettered followed, the problem is the National Rifle Association, money and votes. When bullet labeling was real talk I wonder how the NRA felt about it? Bullet labeling ensures the process of the owner of the bullet, it would make people more responsible. I’m sure if my bullets were stolen I would report it. Simply enforce the laws that we have, and stop being so reactionary over nothing. Idiots are always going to be among us. Why all the silence over the second copycat shooter who had a stockade? I have to say, 6000 rounds of ammo is a bit excessive, I purchase 200 and am satisfied. STOP all the Left/Right talking points, they’re for ratings only. For all those who argue for more gun laws, please explain Chicago. The have the strictest gun laws of any state but more gun violence. Just a thought to all the reactionists out there!
I like Chick Fil-A, they make a tasty chicken sandwich and that’s about it. The franchise is in the news because of its anti- gay stance. It’s been that way since its opening, so why all the back lash now? Do people really care or do they want to keep things going for political expediency? Don’t for one instance think it’s not political. Chick Fil-A is a private franchise that can take any stance they want and give to organizations of their choosing; in other words they can discriminate however they please. On the other side of the argument though people have the right to protest the company and not eat there. This story about the company being anti-gay is unnecessary. Who cares who they give money to, simply don’t eat there, that sends a bigger message. Many people don’t eat there because it’s not kosher and it doesn’t keep the Sabbath holy. There always a grievance we can find and the anti-gay thing is the new issue. Are you like me and tired of this stupid argument… let people be. This is yet another attempt from both sides to keep folks divided:THANKS.
Christian Bale did a good thing by visiting the people injured in the incident that took place in Colorado. On a funny note, when something like this takes place we should immediately say, “not an exceptional day.” Any who Torrence Brown, Jr. is the first to sue. Torrence who wasn’t injured is suing claiming he now suffers from extreme trauma. In the lawsuit Brown’s lawyer, Donald Karpel, lays out the three main parts of the suit:
1. The theater: Karpel claims it was negligent for the theater to have an emergency door in the front that was not alarmed or guarded. It’s widely believed Holmes entered the theater with a ticket, propped the emergency door open from inside, went to his car and returned with guns.
2. Holmes’ doctors: Karpel says it appears Holmes was on several medications — prescribed by one or more doctors – at the time of the shooting and he believes the docs did not properly monitor Holmes.
3. Warner Bros: Karpel says “Dark Knight Rises” was particularly violent and Holmes mimicked some of the action. The attorney says theater goers were helpless because they thought the shooter was part of the movie. Karpel told TMZ, “Somebody has to be responsible for the rampant violence that is shown today.” The question I propose is, does Torrence(real name) have a right to sue? What this young man went through is unlike any of us will ever go through, he did witness his best friend being shoot in the chest and dying. Also in the news we have two goobers apologizing for being STOO…PED. First Rep. Louie Gohmert, (R-TX) apologized for offending anyone with his controversial suggestion that the Aurora, Colo., shootings were the result of “ongoing attacks on Judeo-Christian beliefs,” and stressed that his remarks were “grossly taken out of context,” and later wondered why nobody else in the theater had a gun to help take down the shooter. Then there is Russell Pearce who said, “Had someone been prepared and armed they could have stopped this “bad” man from most of this tragedy. He was 2 and 3 feet away from folks, I understand he had to stop and reload. Where were the men of Flight 93????,” Pearce wrote. Hind sight is 20/20. I wonder if these two men would have done anything themselves. To compare the men on Flight 93 who had nothing to lose to people who had a chance to get away is cowardice at best. Both men should be waterboarded for showing such ignorance and insensitivity.
